Sushi style ore sauted in butter and garlic
Straight outta the tank. He sucks them out of the shell after poking them with a chopstick a couple of times.

Nah that would be my wife. She would eat half the things in my tank if I would let her. Doesn't get any fresher.

@tbrown Look familiar? He's not shooting it out of the tank this time, but sometimes he does. Those are 1" PVC fittings for scale.

Oh also, the return pump is a Mag12, which have notoriously good pressure. That sucker is pinching it down to a trickle by sheer will.

NEW GAME
DISPLACED

Think you know how much water is actually in your system? Time to see how well you can guess how much water is displaced by the rocks! For this game, guess how many gallons of water you think 20.6 pounds of Marco Dry Rock will displace. Guess to the nearest tenth (ex. 10.2, 14.6, etc.). The closest without going over wins a $50 GIFT CARD!!!

One entry per person. In the event of a tie, the wheel will pick the winner. The game goes until the start of the sale on Saturday then the winner will be announced shortly after. Good luck!

You have no idea how many times I had to perform this demonstration while bartending. Some margaritas came in mugs and same came in rocks glasses. However, they both held 10oz. I would have to pour water from the rock glass to the mug once every few weeks to prove to a customer that they indeed were not getting ripped off with the rocks glass. The mug was thicker and just looked bigger.

After I was done pouring the water from one to the other, I would spit in their face, throw the water on them to wash off the spit, then say "you're welcome". I was wildly popular with the guests :D :D :D :D :D

I'm going to put the rocks in water and see how many gallons of water are displaced. I already told you how many pounds the rocks weigh :D

I used a very scientific formula... might be off a couple tenths... ;)
