Bowen's Fusion 10

bowen, I don't know if your Jebao is too powerful for that tank or not but you can swap out your power supply for a generic less wattage power supply from Amazon and it put out less.

Post a photo if you have one, I would like to see what it looks like!
I just can't take a good picture with my primitive cameras...I hate to send a bad one but I'm working on it...how's the Monti cap doing...going down to Maryland to see my son next weekend...there's a place called the Coral King...I'll check it out...Oh, how about joining The Catskill Reef on FB...I started the club and we could use some new information and photos...it would inspire some of our lackeys:D...

The monti cap is doing well I believe, I've been away from my tank for a week now.

I hope you get to pick up some nice pieces at coral King!

Also I actually don't have a Facebook that's the one thing that I kept myself from having

I assume that your in college or grad school, plenty to do...at my age I need stuff like FB to keep me in tune with relatives, life, news and just being busy...take care...working on the pics...

Well yesterday I thought I should try to break off the sharp point that was at the top right of my aquascape. I took it out hit it with a hammer and the rock split in half... So a rescape session began. I still tried to create a more of a pillar while keeping spots for coral placement and room to work. I'm half pleased with it so hopefully it will grow on me more. A phone photo... (those blue lines always make me mad)

Here are also some photos of my fish

Your setup looks a lot like mine now...I'll send you a pic, but it won't be good...the band thing is very cool...my wife and I and kids are also musicians...I'm a percussionist, she's a drummer but plays guitar...we do occasional nursing homes, mostly Dillon, Paul Simon and such...my passion is Cuban as in The Buena Vista Social Club...to me, maybe the best ever...keep in touch...Ken

Well I went to grab a coral that fell the other day and my rock scape came down... So another rescape :/ Parameters are doing pretty well tested today, Calcium is at 430 and Alk is at 9

Here is an updated FTS (dirty water):

Then some random photos!

Bowen...I like it...today I work on tank... got new teal blue hammer and a green trumpet...our fish are similar...purple ff, tail-spot Bennie, 2 ywg's and aroyal gramma in QT...where I can I remove or hide the mounts so it looks more natural...if things go well I'm out of room...by the way, the red montipora is doing fine and growing...Ken:D

Just a small update

-Unfortunately my TSB died about a week or two ago. I think he was sick :/
-Made some new dosing containers from VOSS water bottles. They are pretty nice! (and free)
-Made some adjustments to my dosing pump as the tubes would run dry after a few weeks even though there was plenty of solution in the dosing containers
-Diluted my BRS 2 Part. I heard it is easier to make precise if it is 50/50
-ASD Live Sale Coral Order (7 New Pieces)
-For some reason my Juggernaut Zoas haven't been fully open (if open at all) since I changed my scape. I moved them to a different spot as well as backed off my lighting
-I have regained a ton of color in my corals I believe due to lighting. I think I had the whites up too high which paled out the colors

Here is my AI Prime lighting schedule (More of a reference for me to look back on but if anyone has any suggestions please do share!!)
2 Hr Ramp Up
10:00am-5:00pm
UV: 50%
V: 85%
DB: 85%
B: 85%
R: 15%
G: 15%
W: 15%
2 Hr Ramp Down
5% Violet, DB, Blue till 12:00am

Will probably post some photos up tonight

Is this still your 10gal?...mine is doing great (knock on wood)...I'm really maxed out on everything...except I'll try a new pistol shrimp for my 2 ywm...camera may be up and running today or tomorrow...then I'll post some pictures...my zoas were weak and I put them higher...seem to be doing better...I don't have a light meter so I'm not sure what you're talking about with all of those percentages...

Yeah this is my 10 gallon. I won't be setting up my lagoon for a few months. Glad to hear yours is doing well too! I need to get some new fish too.
