Brad's ADA 60f Mangrove Tunnel

Looking great Brad! How soon will you be converting it to saltwater? Also what are you stocking plans?

Not in a rush to add salt and slow down the growth, so it all depends on how the growth continues.

I might throw in some mollies now as they will be able to survive through a slow salt water conversion. I don't think the tank will be fully salt until at least the end of the year, with the conversion process starting around June.

Are you running straight rodi water in it and if so do you have to add supplements?

Started to bring the mangroves in a bit for the tunnel

So, the water level is relatively low?

No, usually full. Just took the last few pictures while I was doing a water change. You can see in the previous photos all the various water line marks on the glass from being lazy to keep it consistently topped off.

Man so cool. I can't wait to see the "tunnel" come together.

I've heard mangroves are magnesium sucks. In your experience with all the mangrove tanks you've done, do you agree? If so do you dose mag or just rely on your water changes?
