Hello all,
I received an order from BRS containing the wrong items and their customer service team has handled it and are sending me the correct items. I have heard in the past that they usually let the buyer keep the goods they were sent. In this case, they did not explicitly ask me to return them but they did create an RMA and label for me to return them. I am an honest person and came to them at 9AM next business day and I am totally willing/wanting to return the items.

However, as a reefer, we all know pretty much anything on BRS’s site is useful and quite frankly part of me wants to keep the accidental goods. Can someone enlighten me towards the laws surrounding this as well as make me feel better about my decision to return the items. I love BRS and do not want to take from them but at the same time this is their mistake, not mine.

in the UK our BRS is called charterhouse i once got salt and the bag was ripped i complained they sent out another £75 bucket of salt and did not ask for the other bucket to be returned

but i have spent thousands there so meh freebie for being a good customer ill take it

Yes BRS is pretty good. Never had to return anything but the only issue I had was a big bottle of oyster feast frozen rock solid and oozing all over my frozen food order. Dry ice will do that lol.

I mean..I've kept stuff before but I specifically asked if they wanted me to return it. Just ask if they want you to return it...no need to dance in a gray area. If they want it...send it back. If they dont..keep it....errrbody happy and karma doesn't get you

They issued an rma and a prepaid shipping label, I think they want it back

If they created an RMA label then you should return it. If they didn't and didn't ask for it back then keep it. Karma is a *****
I mean it’s a difficult situation because the FTC states that any items sent to your address with your name on it are not subject to needing to be returned. Their mishap has caused me to need to drive out to the post office to send their package back as well as over a weeks worth of wasted time in setting up my new system. The final piece of the puzzle for my tank was in the mail and I was ready to spend the whole weekend transferring everything over but now I have to change all my plans and wait for my actual item to come

They are on this site too. You can ask them for specific instructions.

If you're just going to justify keeping it then just keep it...why you posting on here? Lol

Because i wanted to know if anyone else has had any of the same experiences here. I have like 80% of my friends/family telling me to keep it and 20% telling me to send it back. such a moral dilemma lol
