Chrissy's RSM 250

Following this thread. Great colors. Love the cap garden.
I used Red Sea coral pro for almost a year. It too left a sediment film on my mixing container.

Nice size shortcake frag!

Thank you! The Red Sea does leave a sediment, but it's white. The Reef Crystals left a rusty brown sediment.

The tank is 8 months old today, so I took some new pics!

Everything looks amazing! Great inspiration to have a grown out tank.

Thank you!

Your tank is vibrant! How do you get such great colors

I honestly think it has to do with my nitrates being "high" (staying at around 10-15) and weekly water changes. I have 2 other tanks...one has 0 nitrates and gets the least amount of water changes and everything is pale and dull in it. The other has low nitrates and gets a water change once every 2-3 weeks and the colors are there, but not vibrant. I'll have to experiment with them and see if I'm right...LOL

Just gorgeous!! (my wife said guys don't say gorgeous) HA!

LOVE IT! The aquascape and coral arrangement are very cool. What t-5 brand and config are you currently using? I have an RSM-250 myself and so I'm always curious.

Thanks guys!
The bulbs are ATI. From front to back:

Awesome set-up and coral colors in a tank that is only 8 moths old!!! Need to give me some tips as I am still chasing such beauty.

Thank you! :)

Everything has been doing great, no major issues. I did a little construction work on the tank, so I could add more corals. The stunner that was in the middle was just getting too big and stinging other corals with those long 4 inch sweepers, so replaced it with a pretty pink chalice with lemon lime eyes. I added a couple of colored sponges, some acan frags, chalice frags, and a bright ironman blasto head in other spots. Here are some new pics...still needs to grow in the spot where I took the stunner out, but I think it was for the best.

Your aquarium is great! It isn't overstocked and everything looks to be in their places. Great job!

Thanks guys! I had to do so some rearranging again. I really need to get those tangs out of there... the powder blue started munching on my torches, so I had to take them out and replace them with my blue hammer from another tank. I'm not sure if I like it or not yet. I'll try and get some new
Pics when I get home.

Here's the new fts from tonight...what do you guys think? Should I try and put a BTA there instead? I worry about a BTA getting too big, though. I also moved my trachy to the middle and took the carpet nem out. For some reason, the past few weeks, that sucker has gotten enormous and I am running out of room for it.

And a couple of other neat pics for the heck of it...

Looking great as always. I've always thought I'd never get an anemone just because the get big and like to move. Do you even have enough free rock space in that tank!?

There's a good amount of space where the blue hammer is (in front of the purple gorg), but only for one that would be about 6 inches max extension, assuming that it would stay where I put it. Although It would look awesome, I know it's a bad idea...lol
