Chrissy's RSM 250

I haven't messed with this tank too much lately, because we have been working on the new in-wall tanks ( https://www.reef2reef.com/forums/member-tanks/154299-2-wall-tanks-added-tank-room.html ), but here is a quick update with pics. :) I took out a couple of the sps that were growing too much and covering up some of my smaller, nicer acros- the major change being the hot pink bird's nest. I also had to take out the blue hammer in the middle because my green/pink tip BTA split and the baby plopped right next to it. I added a couple of new acro frags and a big yellow gorgonian on the left. I also added a melanurus wrasse (Mel) and a pretty big square anthias (Bubba).

Beautiful!!

Thanks guys!
Here are a couple of new pics of some of the SPS. Some of them are getting to be nice colonies now, since most were started with small frags, some as little as half an inch!

Cool shots!

This tank is just going from strength to strength. Keep up the great work.

Thanks guys!

Here's a pretty cool pic that I took while doing a water change. Some of the SPS are out of the water...

And one of my acan patch...

Great photos. Love the acan island!

So beautiful! Thanks for sharing. :)

Wow, nice to see an update. Looks fantastic!

Are you running without a skimmer?

Strike that question. I see in another place (-cough- owe us an update -cough-) that you run the RSM skimmer. :)

So are you worried that all those sps are going to kill each other in the next 3-4 months?
They are all about an inch apart now. What are your plans when they start to touch?
And nice acan garden . I've started my own also ;)

I just frag them when they get within a quarter of an inch or so of each other. Some of the bases already touch each other and I just let them go...so far it's only caused a white line between them. When they did get too close the acros won against the stylo and digi.
