custom 93g acrylic cube reef tank build

I would just put a plywood top on it and don't worry about the stand size.

Im going to but i plan on skinning it and want the skin to be 2" taller then the frame so it covers the ply wood and the foam im going to put under the tank so it evens out the weight on the acrylic tank. Im not a big fan of open stands. I like the finished look. I even plan on enclosing all 4 sides of stand and canopy of if in the future i can make this a island display even though tank is only visible on 3 sides

The top and bottom of frame. The bottom has not cross supports so be open for equipment and sump. The top has 2 cross supports to help even the load of the tank. Both top and bottom has 1/2" plywood to even the load.

Thanks for the good comments :) this stand is a beast its perfectly leveled and its and very rigid and stable with 0 wobble at all. And i didnt really realize how huge this whole project was in size till I stood back at looked at it...

I like the second one better.

Yeah i like the minimal look of the second one too. But i could also do a island or even a few LR towers. Being how this is gonna be my last upgrade for a long time i want it to be the best it can be.
