Do i need to change my di resin?

I have a 5 stage rodi system and it's currently letting 8 tds through, super high, I know. But my resin looks unevenly worn. Is there a problem with my system or is this when I would normally need to change it? I thought it should all change color before needing a replacement.

I'm not sure of the brand RODI unit you have but I suspect canister for resin is in upside down. Color change usually starts at the bottom.

Interesting... I don't think it's upside down.. but I can look into it. I am an idiot so it's possible.

Also its aqualife. I added a fifth stage to help combat chloramines

Yeah that's what people are saying now. It doesn't look like it's upside down though, then again I have no idea personally..

Something not right. Double check that hoses were installed properly and filter is in correctly. Mine also colors from bottom up.

Now it's reading 13. Idk anymore... it was a pre-built system.

Check the in and out on the top, not the sticker. They should be molded into the plastic top. Looks like the lines are installed backwards.

Furthermore the water flows outside the canister down up through the bottom and out through the top. Unless you have the lines hooked up backwards

Gotta let it flush for a bit for an accurate measurement. 13 after membrane is ok. 32 is high.

It's very likely when you got the unit they hooked up the lines backwards before sending it out.
