Of course! One of the clowns is The Joker and the soon to be partner is going to be Shamu (he's gonna be black and white)

And there's Scarlet Jocrabson =red leg hermit

Snailer Swift = Tongan nassarius snail

Snail Earnhardt = trochus snail

Named the springeri damsel Samuel L Jackson. Clowns are Bonnie and Clyde and ruby red dragonette is Cooter.

My wife names them all... the 4 chromis are called the blue angels. My Long Nose Hawkfish is called Pinochiio. The Salifin blenny is Lucifer. The Black Blenny is Malcom X. The Royal Gama is Ray. The Ornate Wrasse is Spot.. I can't keep up with all the names.... I would name them all Fish Fillet, or Fish Stix.

My flamehawk is named Henry after the little chick in the Foghorn Leghorn cartoons that thought he was a chicken hawk. I wanted to name him Boris Badernoff, but the wife overruled me.

Yes my kids named them including Peanut Butter and Mr. Jelly the clownfish. Most names make sense somehow but the newest fish- Yellow Coris Wrasse my 6 year old named Kyle.

Absolutely they all get names! I was even naming my CUC until I got too many!
My first clowns were Joker and Harley, my PJ Cardinal was Barry, my Fairy Wrasse was Picasso, and my first snails were Larry, Moe, and Curly.

Still have the following:
Clowns - Bonsai & Sushi (yeah, I know...)
Springeri Damsel - Blue
Banghai Cardinal - Zoom
Royal Gramma - Arthur
Lemon Peel Dwarf Angel - Sam Fisher
Midas Blenny - Lenny (yes, Lenny the Blenny)
Pink Streaked Wrasse - Oliver
And Beauregard, the Cleaner Shrimp

I just got a Snow Storm Clown still in QT that I'm trying to decide between Storm or Chaos...

I recently got my first coral, and my family asked if I was gonna name it, too!

When I had a pair of peppermint shrimp my mother named them Mr. and Mrs. Shrimpling, among with Beaufort the hermit crab, Mr. Scissors the arrow crab... ah good times.

absolutely name them! What's the fun in having a pet with no name?
Purple tang = the fish formerly known as Prince.
Yellow tang = Sun, ( as in, the big yellow one is the sun)
Flame Angel = Smithers
Clown pair = Bonnie & Clyde
Royal Gramma = TF1, (had a wipe out on fish years ago. Royal Gramma was the first "Test Fish" in tank after the reset.
Starkii damsel = Distress
Fire fish 1 = Bon
Fire fish 2 = Jimi Hendrix
Flasher Wrasse = Grand Master Flash

Only when it happens naturally. A couple examples:
Pink spot Goby, a former roommate named "Toby"
Dogface puffer - McPuff (this was before internet forums...hence my screen name)
Past Undulated trigger - A$$hole (obviously)
Current LT tang - whale pig (he's huge)
Past Blueface angel - little boy
Past hatched-from-egg banded cat shark - Dean Sharkington

There's many others of course but these are among the best. Most fish never receive names, at least not on purpose.

I love calling my fish by their names. Purple tang is called purple tang. Golden rhomboid wrasse is referred to as rhomboid. Melanurus wrasse is melanurus. Male and female snowflake ocellaris are referred to as male and female clown. And my little bundle of personality Chalk basslet. I'll let you guess his name.
