Im glad I read this. I was so ready to use Teflon on these fittings lol but one excerpt said not to use schedule 80 fittings on a sch40 system. Most of my fittings are 80 and pipes are 40. I chose the 40 because it has a bigger ID.

I gave up on sch80 a while ago, not worth the cost nor the illusion.

I got this new 1-1/2" Hayward true union Valve. Its huge. Probably wont even use it. lol

Most people don't dry fit, it just takes too much time. They rather just cut and go... I'm on the other side of that... My OCD gets the better of me so I like to make sure everything comes out the way I wanted to, if it takes a day or three so be it. [emoji12]

Nothing like a squared up end on PVC, for the longest I was and am still using a miter saw der:OCD at it's best:der, now I have one of these...

14MpCo, Is it a good idea to use Diamond holesaw for drilling holes on the polypropylene tanks? Im going to install the bulkheads tonight.

nvm i just used a regular hole saw. So The bulk head is tilted a bit because of the slight curve on the tank but I can bend it back when i connect the pipe. Would that be a bad move?
