Finally starting up the new (In-wall) tank

1 valve to convert flow and lead it to sink. 1 valve to close return to tank and 1 valve to drain pipe?

I would add as many as need to change the direction of the flow of water at key points, at the pump, just below the return to the DT and just after running to the sink.

Yes still dry fitting everything. Had to make another order of sch80 bulkheads on BRS because the current BH on my tank is Abs and im afraid it will crack trying to hold up the pvc.

I will take the current Abs BH and drill it into the wall where the drain piping will lead to the sink.

Just an FYI, the O/D sizes on sch80 bulkheads are bigger, and will not fit standard BH holes.

I unscrewed the current Bh right now. Theres probably another 3/16 of an inch extra space. what do you think?

darn the sch80 is 6mm bigger for the OD.

I have yet to brake/crack one of the standard BH, if threaded type use Blue Magic Pipe Thread Compound and tighten until you feel resistance like it wont go anymore and stop... if slip type that even easier.

The pvc will be inserted in the back of abs bulkhead (Internal slip). Just afraid it wont handle the weight of all the pipes when i open and close valves continuously. Would i add the blue magic on the thread part that goes through the tank or through the slip where the pipe is inserted?

It won't you will have to add some sort of brace attached to the 2x4 and along the path to the sink.

No that's only needed for sealing fitting, long story sort, PVC can use Teflon tape but, really it was never meant for that. If you want more info on that read this: Installation

Im glad I read this. I was so ready to use Teflon on these fittings lol but one excerpt said not to use schedule 80 fittings on a sch40 system. Most of my fittings are 80 and pipes are 40. I chose the 40 because it has a bigger ID.
