Nope but I have a plan into affect to have a siphon break! I am going to come out of the back of the tank. Take a 90 towards the top. Then another 90 and a short jog and then another 90 towards the bottom again. The jog between the 2 top 90's will be drilled and tapped with a John Guest fitting which will then run a hose into the overflow. This way if power goes out there should be a siphon break. Correct?

No No water in it yet! This weekend there will be water in it though. Just need to button up some last minute changes and tie all the plumbing together. So get off my back!

THERES WATER IN THE TANK!!!! THERES WATER IN THE TANK! I normally do things the hard way and the non-traditional way. Well instead of doing a Tap Water Test I thought I would start with RO right off the bat!!!! Minor few leaks that I have fixed!!!!! Looking good. No new pics yet but will be coming tomorrow!

Oh and with that being said I can't believe how QUIET the panworld pumps are!!! Needless to say I will be switching out my Mak4 for another Panworld pump for my skimmer!!! Anyone got one?

I can't I need to finish the drain line on it!!! But I wanted to get water in it and see how the return plumbing was!!! Drain Line will be a cake walk though!!! Should see how much the sand bed got stirred up with just the return pump running. Thinking I will be cracking back the ball valve on this beast!!!!!! Will get Pics up tomorrow when its up and running!! Will be cloudy though I didnt rinse any of the sand

Well tank has been up and running since noon with Just RO water in it. I am at work (which was a little scary leaving) and Wife said everything looks good with a little bit of gurgling going on! Will look at possibly making the hole in top of the cap bigger. I did do a unplug of the pump to see how the siphon break works that I rigged up and it appears to be working just fine!! No lights on the tank yet or rock either!

put a ro line ball valve in that hole so you can adjust at will instead of guessing what size to drill the hole..."opps...to big.....dang it!!" <---i dont want to hear it

I don't know if thats the problem yet!!!! And If I do drill it too big then I will do that!!! As I have the drill bit and tap for them The wife said its not too bad right now. She said its gurgling a little bit!! And she is the one that normally will yell right off the bat so I must be pretty dang close!!!!

Well I got home tonight and did some tweaking of the ball valves and used a piece of airline to put down the hole on top of the durso! I am pretty happy with it right now. I may need to fine tune it. But right now its not that loud really. Kind of a soothing sound. Did another pull the plug test and all seems fine with the Siphon break I installed. I added about half the salt that I will need and will let that circulate through out the system and add the other half tomorrow morning. Wed I will be adding the rock and trying to aquascape it. Pictures to come during that.
Still waiting to get my conduit bent up and when that is bent up I will be painting that and affixing my halide pendants to that! Thinking it will be looking good. Still not too sure on the 15K XM bulbs though. I prefer a little more blue of a tank but time will tell!
