Great news update from Neptune!

Just a side note on my Alkatronic as well. I know that the price point for the Trident is app $600. If you want the same functionality that I currently get with my Alkatronic by the time you do add in the DOS price wise they are a wash. No real advantage if you ask me. Once the Trident is released, I’ll definitely give it a long look to see if I feel the need to measure calcium and magnesium frequently (don’t at the moment - which is one of my deciding factors on if I will purchase the unit).

I love my Apex just like the next and it to me is the best controller available on the market. I just need stability with my ALK and the Alkatronic has done that for me.

It's almost the end of q4, aka their supposed release date. Haven't seen a peep from them, maybe I missed it. I think Alkatronic is getting my money.

At least they're doing better than Vertex who is at year #2 of LIES and their latest promise was ship-out BY December 22nd and once again- Not a peep from them or apology for not shipping the Cerebra controllers to everyone they took $600 from.

I think they should of just came out with a alk Monitor instead of testing all 3. I feel its pointless to test calcium and magnesium multiple times a day. Now if you could set it to test calcium and magnesium once a week it would be better. But last I read about it the minimum was 3 times a day it think.

I wouldn't say ghosted and I would have vaporware. They showed a working unit or prototype. There are just no updates is all for whatever reason. The reason only they alone know.

My understanding was you could test up to twice a day. I would think neptune would allow the user to decide how many times a day/ week you text parameters. I'd personally test alk twice a day, calcium once and magnesium maybe once a week. Save on reagent usage.

Clearly they’re having trouble getting it to work. That’s the only logical reason for the delay. Happened with the COR pump, which apparently ended up going back to the drawing board. It’s in their interest to get it to market of course, but only if it works. I find it best to not get all worked up over these things.
