Haha. Funny - we actually decided his name is Amarillo (Yellow in Spanish).

I got some food from Brandi tonight that he has eaten in the past. Ready to attempt.

I took Spanish back in highschool. Nowhere near fluent but I still know my colors and a few phrases, numbers and verbs.

Lower the stress as much as possible. Turn out the lights. And really boost the O2 levels as possible.
I hesitate to suggest but a bath in Ruby Reef Rally works wonders on fish in rough condition. It's combination of antibiotic and antiseptic qualities often produces results.
Another med I suggest for fish with "red sores" in Nitrofuracine Green Powder. Lots of suppliers and LFS treat roughed up, starved, newly received fish with this powder. Very good results.

Ok - how do I do the reef rally bath? I am going to do one. How long do I leave him in it? I have water heating and aerating.

I am scared every time I walk down the steps to the basement to the QT area. He looks to be doing well in the bath right now. I did not do fresh water in QT, as I have the antibiotics in it and I am not dealing with ich or velvet. I will attempt to get him to eat again tonight. Although likelyhood after the bath is slim to none. But I will try.

I ordered black worms, but they can't get here until Tuesday! .

He is now at the Columbus zoo.

Stubby: feb 2018 to present.
Lost all of his fins due to attack, now doing Great in my 180.

He made it through the bath.
Second dose of Furan 2 started.

His fins look like they are peeling. Poor guy looks awful. And I am a little paranoid about cross-contamination. Especially since I don’t know exactly what this is. Being very careful not to mix equipment and sterilize everything.

I'm very sorry to report that Amarillo didn't make it through the day. He was alive this morning but not when I got home.

He was just too far gone and I lost him. Thank you to everyone who tried to help. I really feel like I did everything I could.
