Glad to hear you were able to get everything worked out, living in Florida I plan for power outages and a/c system failures.

Look into getting one of these as a backup it helped keep my system nice and cool last time I had a system failure

Hmm thatsa tough one how many gallons and what's your water temp at now. I'd be hesitant to float any bags the best judge of how y[updater is doing is the behavior of your livestock you might try increasing your water flow add a few extra powerbeadss to increasewatermoement. Or what we used to doing those circumstances at sea world was run to the store and get some jugs of distilled water and did small water changes periodically. I'd make sure anything that could generate hear like heatersand lights are off to prevent any excess heat.but personally I would avoid floating anything that could potentially contaminant your tank
Now cooling down the beer is an easy fix a trick I also learned when working for sea world and in college. The fastest way to get beer to its ideal temp is to spray it down witha fire extinguisher you might want to do this outside it gets a little messy but will give you nice cold beer quickly.

When I first met my future wife at a bar she asked what work I was in and I told her I was a whale trainer at sea world. That was 27 years ago now.

What brand is that? No exhaust line out the window?

Yes, it has an exhaust line for the window, (I vent it into my garage when I need to use it) it's not connected at the moment exhaust line is on the shelf. It is a Hisense 10,000 btu's I got it at Lowes.
