If you had to replace your return pump tomorrow, what would you get?

Any Jebao has always done me justice

If you had to replace your return pump tomorrow, what would you get? Which one would be your choice for your reef and why? What are some important things to consider when choosing a return pump?
I’m actually doing this tomorrow. I’m currently using a Vectra M2 which will become my spare. I’m switching to a Neptune COR 15 for the Apex integration.

I have a reeflo external pump now and would like to switch to a vectra l1 or l2. I'm trying to go with something a bit quieter.

I have a Reeflo Snapper hybrid on my DT. Very dependable. The backup is collecting dust on the box. Frag tank has a Current 3170. Also very dependable thus far.

In the past 10 years I have used sicce for returns and utility pumps and have not had one fail, I would stick with that brand. I am using a sdc 7.0 and has performed flawlessly.

Definitely “Abyzz”. The best investment in a pump. Most reliable that needs the least maintenance, with 10 years warranty. I have tried many pumps in the markets during my 16 years in the hobby. Abyzz has no competitor. “Aquabee” comes second.

Fluval SP series

Or

Sicce synchra/silent

Currently have a Vectra L1 and I never touched the controller after initial setup.

Currently have a cor20, replacing it with a vectra L2 and using the cor20 on my mixing station.
If money wasn’t an issue I’d go abyzz

I use 2 vectra l1 and would get the L2 s. They are reliable, easily controllable, and just have so many features. They’re also powerful

I’d buy nothing but a jebao/jecod. Been In this hobby 10 years and that’s all I’ve used and they last forever and move a ton of water with the least amount of power. Anything else is just vanity and. Waiste of money

what return pump would I use if mine went out? Easy mag12, because it is sitting in my garage

I've had a RO Various 4 for 2 years, which isn't that long, but all good so far. I use two pumps whenever possible.
BRS has said they hear almost no issues back on Various. My other pump is an older Vectra but when it dies I'll likely get a second Various. I'd much rather have two decent pumps then one super expensive one.
