I just done have a timer so it's when I get em on and open and closed so was a 7 on and 10 off for past 2days.

I just looked at the floor plan and it's Cali kid corals I got the frag from. I bothered JF attendant for ID on it so know it was them. I have there floor plan if any1 would like posted

Had it on the lower rack and moved it up as it was showing it was acclimated I've had it 2 weeks it had some stn so glued it and set it up alittle higher during my ramp time

then woke 2 it dead on the upper rack Polyps out on top rack the whole day. then RTN like gonzo 2day. So I'm thinking this tank 4 years old now needs 2 b semi broken down and cleaned. Wvery1 that's looked says all the corals around are fine but not it? And ya. Was happy yesterday. 2 T5 pink and actinic. And sorry my mind is racing on the edits

If you had it for 2 weeks and was ok then overnight it rtn, I would say you most likely had an alkalinity spike. Or something else went quickly off balance in your parameters. I would not say this is the cause of the place of purchase.

No I just want them 2 help me with a repurchase that's all and 2 say I have the floor plan. An alk spike at night when everything else is ok. What would do that.

Cold would b the only and never happens as he AC is a keep it at temp not heat or cool

So I'm heading 2 LFS for a bacteria test or something as this is a head scratcher. Only thing I can thing is my sebea nem pulling everything. It's 13 inches inflated and maybe swings the alk up by stripping mag.

Curious, how do you control your alkalinity and other parameters? Do you use a doser ? Do you dose manually? Do you dose at all?
Use a buffer and wasn't happy so I've been slowly dropping the dose. Litterally by weight on my scale. 2 stop as 3 years of no buffering then used it 2 raise but didn't stop so doing it now. I got brown jelly 2 years ago from it so buffers a stay away from. But have been dropping alk for 8.5 to the manageable with no buffer to 8- 8.2 mid day.
