Lost WD in 1 night

During all the dosing my salt creep got this bad but that's a bit of time but that's my nem

I can keep a flower for what's said 2 b impossible past a year and been 3 so this is just weird 2 me in all ways. And of course it has 2 b my Walt. I was going 2 frag alittle booger off it as it was a cactus shape and would heal faster and have a back up but wasn't given the time 2.

That nem more than likely is stinging the corals and also may be the cause of death...
That's the rink I kept it on the back rack so it wouldn't. Then the top it doesn't touch.

My racks far away from its reach. I've already thought that out way b4 RAP

so this is y I posted. I know waters right and acclimated propper alk swing is only possible reason and multiple corals were purchased at RAP and is the only lose

I agree that it is probably an alkalinity swing however I would think that other SPS corals would have been affected in some degree as well. The nem soaking up magnesium cannot cause the alkalinity to rise only the magnesium to lower. If that is the case. But I am more inclined to believe that somehow that nem stretched out and stung the WD.

So I ask y is the ALK swing happen and y only WD. Like god knew this will ruin his life well for another month.

There's no way

Ok then. When you add more corals your corals are going to soak up more alkalinity then previous. How are you adjusting your alkalinity? You stated a buffer before. What buffer? And is this buffer for alkalinity?

It's buried in the rack for that reason. Or was

I need a larger tank I'm seeing it. That it. Set up a 14g nano for RAP but it can't cycle in time put an acan in and covered in hair in a day so not coral ready.

I think it might be sps/ coral warfar.
Do you have another sps from the wild in the tank? They carry bacteria that's different waters from the ocean.

I heard world wide coral don't mix
Agriculture sps from other sps for this reason,
Just a thought.

That's the only think I can think. 2 many corals now and not enough water. But all my parameters haven't changed so that's what's odd. It's overstocked I'd say but still water is fine and Kent buffer is what I used. I hate buffer and posted on that guys ask a question page on raising with out buffers by hot a need 2 answer.

So, can we agree that SPS corals in general need a very stable environment? And can we agree that some might be a bit less tolerant of external factors than others(ALK, temp,NO2,etc..)? Well, from my experience, ALK swings and temp sings can cause serious damage to your SPS. I would also say there might be few other factors that might be effecting your corals, especially those acros.

Yes, nems move. Sometimes they only need to move a little and then they move back. Sometimes they move a lot. In that size tank in that size tank I would not trust a nem of that size with SPS.

Yes I do. Wild hammers for what I know as the owner lied then his hand said 90% isnwild we get. So I knew what I've been getting is wild.

I dipped for red bugs and almost killed coals so got a pipefish but he's doing a slow job. So Ima do a light dip on em over time and thats y that nano is set up was goin 2 treat with that hearworm pill for gods. Interceptor but can't get it

It wasn't the nem. That's it. No mlre coukd b be nem as it wasn't been 3 years and had moved 1s and haven't bugged in 9 months now. An I can see his foot. And if it had moved I'd notice it's not in same place as b4 aswell as all the coals have been moved for that reason. I have a 75g I'm setting up but that's months. So I'll take it as an alk swing for some reason killed it. Thanks.

Come for help and get blasted. Have high end sps and is could b thisnor that. No I needed a high end sps and slight lps person 2 help. 2 kill 1 coral over others is 100% odd and can only b chalked 2 alk and that coral like Millis don't take well 2 it. So a loathed quantity of water is needed 2 not have that happen. I knew that would most likely be the problem and asked her for a confirmation and got random responses. The nem just makes me laugh. A sebea moving randomly and back.... stinging. A coral deep in a rack and the other random posts made it even better. I'm posting a question on a serious problem and get sarcasm. I don't like trolls... thanks 2 every1 that truly trying 2 help the find a reason
