Wow it's getting there fast! Great shots and bravo again.
wow... you guys got the golden touch....
How do you guys like the panorama? Do you think they are strong enough for any sps? I love the look but wonder what the par readings are on them..
We went with the Panorama fixture because our tank is very shallow (12"). Our seriatopora, stylophora and pavona colonies should do ok in the top half of the tank with these lights. I don't believe that Acropora or any corals that require intense lighting would do well under this fixture.
We like the clean look of the fixture and it was easy to install. We don't like all the necessary wiring, transformers, separate inline dimmers and such. It is a bit annoying that the fixture comes standard with only 5 modules as it just does not produce enough light. We are running ours with 7, but are ordering 2 more pro modules (the max is 9 for the fixture) as we don't feel there is quite enough light.
LiveAquaria is now selling "select" Panorama fixtures for LPS, SPS, softies and fresh water. The LPS and SPS packages are both using 9 modules with a different mix of colors. Wish those packages had been available 2 months earlier, LOL!
