Interesting, no no issues with distortion on my phone camera. Will test with husband's, please hold...

You need to make a viewing plate that floats and shoot through that.

I bought one.
problem is I shoot with the phone and the lights reflect on the inside glass of the floating viewer.

Can you not lay the phone flat on the viewer plate, if not then reflections are a whole different ball game?
