Odd. You got me on this one.

Can you hold the wet side against the book, and record again? Need a third hand? lol it sounded normal, but hard to tell with it jumping.

Might just need a new wet side.
Thanks for your help. My third leg did the job. Is the jumping normal when out of water?

I tried spinning the wet side and while I do that it's silent but once I keep it still the noise comes back

I use food grade silicone lube on my wet sides and on every pump when I clean them. Makes feel better I guess, because it gone in just a coup,Ed minutes or less after starting the pump.
Yep, awesome for lubing up DC pump O-rings too, makes taking the front cover off wayyyy easier on my Jebao DCPs

I got an idea, maybe ask if a LFS that has these in their tanks to try your wet/dry side with their wet/dry side to find which part is actually at fault. ofc this is assuming you have lfs that use these.

I’m going to ask if thats possible. They do sell ecotech but I’m not sure if they use them in their displays
