oh yea i hear it.

the scraping sound i believe is from the wetside breaking in.

but it also sounds like vibration.

do you feel the vibration on the tank glass when it is running high power?

I don't feel the vibration on the glass but when It's out of the water there is a little bit

You might have to take it up with them. That dry side is not right.

Can you take it out of the tank, place them between a piece of thicker cardboard, then make another vid?

That happens when the magnet jumps up and down on the shaft instead of spinning. Usually caused by misalignment.

That happens when the magnet jumps up and down on the shaft instead of spinning. Usually caused by misalignment.

There are 3 but all of them are not broken.

Normal. As long as it stays clipped in.

That white part, is just a spacer hot glued to the bottom of the case. You could try and pry it off(I cant get mine off with just my fingernail) and try it again on the carboard.

i'd recommend getting some of this stuff to grease up the shaft and ceramic plates whenver you clean it. they say you don't have to but it helps dampen any grinding sounds i find.

I use food grade silicone lube on my wet sides and on every pump when I clean them. Makes feel better I guess, because it gone in just a coup,Ed minutes or less after starting the pump.

Can you hold the wet side against the book, and record again? Need a third hand? lol it sounded normal, but hard to tell with it jumping.

Might just need a new wet side.
