Today I decided it was time to remove the Zoa's and Pulsing xenia this would allow more SPS and no chance of a potential overtake of the pulsing coral which left me with this.
A bit of a void and not really much space to attach anything and with that nice pillar sticking up I had an idea so of the LFS I went and picked up a shelf and it fitted nicely and it well supported and bonded in place.
The brightness of it will settle down as it matures.
Now I then thought there was no point in having all that extra SPS real estate and not using it so added a few pieces to it
2 new editions got added last night a Jewel Tang and a Mystery Wrass the only fish that showed any agression was the Kole this has now stopped and they have both settled and feeding here is a couple of pictures.
What with my anenome splitting and both parts moving around and one chalice coral got battered to death by its sting sadly I decided to remove them as I could potentially loose ££££ in corals should they go walking one end to the other.
This meant breaking down the scape again !! To get them out but I'm happy with how it has turned out.
Just had a look back and I changed the tank over to the salty side 13 months ago and it has come a long way in that time here is 2 pictures for comparison.
I see an orange shoulder tang a couple of weeks back for sale from a tank that was being broken down so went to view it and tonight I picked it up and is a lovely healthy fish as well as an urchin.
It has settled in well and there has been no real aggression from any of the other tangs. I has muched on pellet and frozen so seems happy enough.
It was in a 3ft tank so I'm sure it will be happy of the extra swimming space and the brother inlaw will move it upto his 8x3x2 should it get to big for mine so it has a good home secured for it even if it does outgrow my 6ft
Having another day of work would be rude not to visit another LFS and this time I come away with a red Gonipora and another acan colony bottom left in first picture not fully out yet.
I've annoyed the one on left when I moved it to get red one in
All other corals have settled well and managed to get a decent picture of my mystery wrass had him about a year but hard to get a picture of him as he so quick
