My hammers wont open all the way!!!

Hi everyone my hammers have recently started to not open all the way. Please help me so I can get them back to normal! They are getting medium to heavy flow. Here are some pics:

They used to be extended a lot, but now they are pulled in, and the tentacles are skinny. Could I be low in calcium or something?

Can check sg, as well as other parameters, especially if your using a hydrometer instead of a refractometer. Many hydrometers are off by quite a bit.

I usually suggest red sea for test kits, can't go wrong with them.

I do not use gfo. They are in my 29 gallon biocube.

Well from what I can see, it's already two heads. Are you asking if maybe it's splitting again? If so I can't really tell, but you definitely have two heads there.

When I got it, it was kinda one long head but now its two. Do you think its splitting again?

It doesn't seem to be (from what I can see) like stated above, what is your salinity?

My salinity is at 1.021 as tested with a hydrometer. Ill run a full test. Give me a few minutes, and ill give you all results.

Low to moderate flow is better for Euphyllia and it looks like it already split.
Also Euphyllia won't open up as much if you blast them with too much light.

Is this the same coral? The back ground seems different aside from it also being a much better photo. I am because I generally don't like seeing the mouths the way they look in that pic. I've seen several with wide open mouths like on the left head, and usually ends in polyp bail out (death).

I would raise your salinity up (gradually) to 1.023. Should help out. For a reef, the salinity is a bit low. Definitely not bad but a little low.

There's a hundred things that could cause issues, but knowing almost nothing about your tank doesn't help narrow it down. I'm not a fan of all test kits so that almost means nothing imo. If api is the best we got, also indicate if that is generally a normal test result and if not, what is your normal reading?

Sg I would focus on for a minute because it is out of range could certainly cause the coral some irritation. What is it? And what are you using to test it? Do you use an auto top off or are you manually topping off?

What other corals are in the system? And have you noticed and change with them?
