Only two still haha. Guess I'm just waiting for them to get settled in. They have been through 5 tank changes, but look great still. Just want some for my 120. The originals are back in the 3Always buddy. You must have a solid 10 by now?
I agree on the salinity. That's a low number for some corals. I keep my tanks at 1.025/6I think I was typing same time as some other responses. Sg seems low but on a hydrometer they can be off by quite a bit and often are off by .004 in either direction which is big. If your enjoying the hobby this far, I'd suggest a refractometer for sure.
That said, low salinity could cause that issue for sure.

I see, yeah zoas like to not be messed around with. If you forget about them for a while when you find them there will be more lol.Only two still haha. The frag will be alright man. Just shoot me a pm with price when you get some time and I'll send the money. Thanks manI see, yeah zoas like to not be messed around with. If you forget about them for a while when you find them there will be more lol.
I think a have one 2 or 3 polyp frag kicking around. Lights are off now though. I could probably make a bigger cut from in my tank but they did not enjoy that last time.
Whats your alk? That ph is low@cameronh and @Triggreef here are the results:
pH: 7.8
Ammonia: 0 - 0.25
Nitrite: 0
Nitrate: 20
Calcium: 480
Its good for cycling, but when you need precise reliable results you gotta go with red sea or salifert.@cameronh shipped me this test kit. Its been good and accurate every test. Last week my ammonia was 0 this week it was 0.25 which concerns me.
Most likely, but i wouldnt chance it. Take a sample to your lfs tomorrow.@joshkirkland83 so is my ammonia probably 0?
Im an lps man especially euphyllia. IME its a combination with you. The ph, alk, and salinity. But we cant say for sure till you get your water tested with good reliable tests. So @joshkirkland83 what do you think could be causing my hammer to be closed, shrunken, and skinny. I posted water paramaters and a pic of the hammer before all these posts
