@joshkirkland83 I was thinking the same thing you were. Ill get the mg, alk, and ca fist. And my api kit was pretty accurate on pH and nitrate my kit told me nitrate was 10 and thas what the red sea said, and my kit said pH was right around 8.0 - 8.2 and the red sea said 8.2

Sounds like a plan. Dont forget the refractometer. This kit will last a good while. The refills for each test is $12. So it does get cheaper.
