Wow it's been a while since I have updated anything. I recruited the help of 3 other friends and hefted the tank into place and I was relieved to see that it fit perfectly.

Awesome! Very nice plumbing job. Still waiting on mine. Month 10...

I'm sure you're getting anxious to get your tank. Mine came after a 14 month wait but the wait was worth it.
Yes, I am, but I am enjoying seeing a few of them get to their owners here on R2R. Interested in seeing how your rocks look when you get them in the tank. Looked good on the dry mock-up.

Awesome fish room. Lot of Reef Savvy build treads going on right now, I'm trying to follow them all. Just took delivery on my tank about a week ago took about 14 months also but it was for sure worth the wait, Beautifully built tanks. Good luck with your build, you are off to a terrific start

Thanks! I haven't finalized my aquascape but I bought 100# of the arag-alive Fiji pink sand. I am also going to use the Red Sea reef mature pro kit(s) to get the tank cycling once I get the plumbing finished.

Congrats on getting your tank. I saw yours when you got it. That is going to be a nice setup! Looking forward to seeing your progression.

I have 100 pounds of the Tropic Eden Tonga Reeflakes and about 75 pounds of BRS Pukani rock. The rock has been curing in a plastic drum since last July. I have even started a colony of amphipods in the rock. It is ready to go into the tank. At least I will be ahead of the game in getting the rock ready. :-)

Like Black Pearl, I have been anxiously watching the other Reef Savvy threads here. Glad there is another one coming to life. I will be following along, for sure!

I am going to have to make a trip to another town to find a schedule 80 elbow and bushing so I can do a water test. [HASHTAG]#ruralwyoming[/HASHTAG]

you're a woodworking wizard , looking great . I love build threads almost more then seeing a mature tank . Lets see how you aquascape that beauty......could make or break it! pressure on....;)

Very nice and thought out build. What will fill in the gap at the top of the tank?
The top of the tank is going to remain open. I will have something at the rear of the tank to block out the view of the fish room. I was going to have a wood shelf on hinges that would be lifted up to access the back of the tank but I may just use a black curtain for now.
