Happy Easter from my lil Easter egg!

While this hobby is enjoyable and relaxing to me for the most part, it's those times when patience and waiting are key. Have had a few first: my pink margin evidently rammed my tank for some unknown reason and hasn't been the same for 3 days; my new blue flasher is a color morpher, red to blue to a purplish red back to red.

Day by day and 1 day at a time!

I typically don't offer live brine but thought it might coax the new blue flasher out. Yup it did the trick :)

Nice thread,

As I sit here and type this I have but 2 things on my mind:
Day 10 of my pink margin still not acting his self not eating (rammed tank for unknown reason is thought 2 be the cause),

and,

How What do I do all around to give myself the best shot at pulling off stunning colors on a wrasse not known 2 hold.

I never thought I'd be this far with fish, as I have an eel. Anything is possible!

Well I ended up taking back the wrasse. At this point I'm refusing to add any other fish until I find my dream wrasse.

Have you ever wondered how things may really be if you could get the living creatures you wanted? Well last night my journey took me to calling overseas. Knowing a for sure source on the wrasse I've dreamed of has made my patience in that area grow thin.

There is no giving up now, just a matter of figuring the best way to make a dream a reality.

Today I tore down and started cleaning my qt, switched over the McCosker to my DT. I should have added a 2nd flasher long ago :)

Now my game plan is 2 go back to my 10g as quarintine and let my 20g be back up if I need it.

My patience bubble is slowly bursting, for a wrasse that isn't rare, it's been impossible to locate 1 that I can order. Still hoping I can find 1 within the next few weeks before my birthday, because I'm also coming up on my 1 year mark with my eel Alcatraz.

The biggest realization I've had is to never get settled into choices especially when you have plenty of room to add. I thought mixing fairies was going to be much easier than its gone, it really sucks that a lot of the more colorful ones I like can be somewhat aggressive with others, loose their color or both. While I'll take risk if the information isn't fully concrete that's out there, but when you get told by someone that knows more than any other, you gotta listen.

Sorta feel like I'm back to square 1 except I know more flasher wrasses are a must. Maybe I'm too picky.

What to do on an unexpected day off, look at fish all day since I have room and a birthday coming up.

@reefwiser Ed where would you set this up? I've thought under and away, but don't know what would be best. Going to plug my sump pump or powerheads into.
