Please help with my nem.

He was my birthday present.
Nice to see another female reefer! I love my bubble tip as well. Got my tank as a 16th birthday present and it’s been my entire life since! Been keeping a tank independently since I was about 6 but my dad has always kept a reef in the house. I was over the moon when he finally bought me one! I’ve since taken up a bunch of odd jobs and saved up, just started my second tank! I’m glad you’re passionate about the hobby, I’m tired of the old way of thinking (the way my dad does) that if a fish/coral/invert isn’t doing well then it’s just whatever if it dies. Never understood that, you take on responsibility for these creatures by buying them and not giving them the extra care they require is neglect and abuse in my eyes. It’s people like you that I love to see in this hobby :)

I'm glad you are doing what you can for him! Also a female reefer here. I had a BTA bleach white (from heat) and I fed him every few days for 10 months until he came back. Very rewarding. I've never seen one expel its innards as this one, but its not impossible to get it healthy again. @OrionN is a nem expert here. Just keep following his advice and hope for the best!

I don’t think so. I have not check my phosphate or nitrate in the last 20 years. I lump all these in “water condition”. I either use IO or Reefcrystal (depends on what I can get cheaper at the time) and change about 50 gal every 2 weeks on my 420 gal or so system and never check them. I only check temp, salinity, Alk and Ca.

Had to make a smaller box so I can clean my tank
Looking like not so many filaments anymore, very good sign! A little closed up but it looks like your lights are just coming on so that’s normal. Nice job providing a rock for a little more security and comfort! Just make sure he can’t skip through that eggcrate and you’re good!! If you feel like he can, stretching a pair of women’s pantyhose around it like your net breeder box will fix the issue :). You’re doing a fantastic job!

I still have the net from the net breeder box when I get home I’ll stick that on there. Today is wc day so I’ll move his box down while I do that

It is hard to see other than I see a few mesentary filaments and that the anemone is attached and inflated. I would leave him alone and concentrate on keep the water quality good. Don't try feed him. Hope for the best. He won't "nuke your tank" if he die in there. Best of luck.

As said above, he’s still attached, he’s not dropping. There are still filaments visible but they’re definitely improved compared to when we first saw him. Keep everything stable, nothing good happens fast :)
