@Anirban any comments for you side?

For @Perry and @Anirban
Also, i would like clarify 2 points:
1 - what is the best place to drop NP and Pro Bio S? in facebook group, i saw people dropping, at sump, or at display tank but during the night tank time. what is the best place and time to dose?

2 - in the guide, there is a place saying that Bio F should be used together with pro bio S, is it only for the new tanks?

  1. You dont need to dose any of those during night, only the coral food or amino or vitamin during night. I dose them directly in my tank and I dont think there is any issue with that unless you dose it in skimmer compartment.
  2. Bio F is a mixture of probiotic bacteria and culture medium. So, you can use it either Pro bio S and NP pro or Pro bioF. But dont dose them together.
As for your case I will say get a bottle of bio S and start dosing the tank for next 2 weeks it will kick start or balance out your nitrogen cycle and then as NO3 level increases you PO4 will be used up by the probiotic bacteria and you tank will stabilise. But all these will take time so keep your calm.

@Anirban Thanks a lot. I'm already dosing Pro Bio S / NP 14 drops a day (2x recommend dosage, upgraded the dosage due no results with the normal ones). I'm ok... just checking the parameter 2/3 a week. today i will check the PO4

I dose this first thing in the morning into high flow in the display, on the basis I will be feeding and the bacteria will have somthing to work on
the foods I also dose in the display but at or just before the lights go out as corals feed at night

another think that i noted is, my glass is getting with brown stuff and i have to clean them every day, is it a good signal? bad signal?

@Anirban @Perry @Gary Wilkinson follow below how my hydras are setup

I would cut back or stop for a while Amino Mix, its very concentrated and might be more than your tank needs

If nitrates are No3 is 0 and Po4 is .1 then you might have an imbalance. You might try adding a little nitrate to and then check to see if that helps get your phos to go down.

@eg8r210 i've already checked it, but im confused in how much should i have to dose. Also due the output the tanks is showing (brown algae) at the glass that have to be cleaned every day, dont know if i dose more no3 will cause much more brown algae. (or maybe i'm just making some confusion)

Hopefully someone else will chime in. Depending on what you buy, Brightwells Floringo, it should have some directions on the bottle. I would dose to add 1-2 ppm nitrate and see what happens.

It is possible to have leaching phosphates from rock or sand? How old is the system, the rock in the system(live or dead), and how large and what type of corals? Many things to look over as to determine source.

Look into redfield theory , ther is a balance between No3 and Po4 that needs to be meet IMO , I am fighting the same thing at Po4 being .09 you should have No3 around 10 ppm this is a balancing act again that is MO , it works for my tank.

@Flavio Carpi are running filter socks? I pulled mine and the daitoms on the glass went away.
