@jsker @Perry @Anirban, one more page on this history, after a weekend far away from tank (just my wife feed the fish), i got a lot of algae on the glass (brown algae), and into the pumps as well.

Today i tested direct without perform anything into the tank, and my result is below:

Ca: 410
Mg: not tested but still dosing bailing
KH: 6.7
No3: 0
PO4: 0.03 and 0.04 (incredible)

I still not dosing np / pro bio S.

The algae is eating up your phosphate. Try to feed more and bring the nitrate up and change the GFO to help PO4 down. Also I will still suggest you to start dosing Bio S as that will increase your NO3.

Also besides @Anirban suggestions , my I suggest to bring up your Alk/KH up to at the least of 7 slowly and if not 7.5 over 2 to three weeks.

@Anirban and @jsker, firt of all thanks a lot for the support :)

ok i will work to bringing up the ALK, which method is better ? (mean, kalkwasser? bailling?)

For the food, if i add more food, more po4 will enter, which food have more Nitrates? live food as brine shrimp?

Also regarding the Bio S, how much? 2 drop per gallon? (I only have Pro Bio S, Bio S i dont have, can i use pro bio S?)

I prefer balling as its a balanced way to increase everything. You can feed more food as it will increase nitrate and the excess phosphate can be taken care by the GFO. Also dont forget to change your GFO. As far bio s concern its one drop per 27 Gallon.

I prefer the balling method using the 1+2+3+, after the amounts are established one system is on auto pilot with a doser. I agree again with @Anirban with feeding and GFO. I am auto dosing the Np pro and Pro bio s at 1ml everyday.

@Anirban I know you are going to ask about auto dosing pro bio S. this is a experiment that is am conducting:)

@jsker and @Anirban n thanks, i've change the GFO 2 weeks ago, is it time to change it again? my TFL 150 is half fulled.

Regarding the Bio S, you mean Bio S not Pro Bio S, any reason?

sorry for too many questions, but why dose only pro bio without "the food" (np)?

my concern is provide more food, will increase too much PO4, that will be a boom into the brown algae...

I did not know to start with bio s in the past and just went with pro bio:rolleyes::)

Bio S contains bacteria which helps in nitrogen cycle and pro bio s then use the end product NO3 and PO4 to make biomass which can be skimmed out and corals can use them too. So possibly if you bio S you will see a better nitrogen cycle and possibly more nitrates. You dont need a lot of GFO but you should take care it tumbles inside the reactor.

@jsker I will not ask anything about autodosing of Probio S because I follow your thread as well as your experiment. Possibly I will start doing the same thing soon.;)

@Anirban thanks, follow the output that i have in my reactor, tomorrow (today i'm away from my home) i will take a new video

Regarding the Bio S, i dont have, if i order it, it will take 1 month to arrive here, is there any option besides the Bio S?

Also, thanks again

Exactly what I was telling you. Your GFO is not tumbling actually its not working well. Its just sitting there. It should be tumbling so that water comes in its contact. Put less GFO and make it tumble.

There are lot of other stuffs but order one and add it once you receive it.

@Anirban so, until i receive bio S, i should not dose anything except the products to fix ALK and MG that we already mentioned, isnt?

You can continue dosing Pro bios and NP pro.

@Anirban and @jsker, following thhe news

After i cleaned the guys at the last report, the one thing that i did was feed the fishes (not yet started to dose Np and Pro Bio S), i noticed that my skimming is not producing the same wast as it produced before. So passed 3 days (last report was just 2 days ago) my glass not created a lot of brown algae comparing as i had at my last report.

Follow the current parameters:

Ca: 410
KH: 7
No3: 0
Po4: 0.02 and 0.05 (tested twice)

Mg test not yet arrive, so tomorrow i will go to LFS to request to them test my water again and i can compare with my results.

i'm preparing a 70L to perform a water change with HW reefer salt.

any tip?

That is looking really good, now just for get the nitrates up and you will be on track to a healthy growing system. I do think look with the Po'4 coming down? the reason for getting the Nitrates up is the corals need to eat.

Could be, but nitrate is getting up and being taking by bacteria, because the test keeps cristal clear @salifert.

Should i perform the WC?

Dont do the water change now......wait for couple of more days then test again. If needed then change the water.
