Powder blue in 90 gallon?

I've seen plenty bigger than 6". They can very easily grow to 1', and the majority will eventually reach about 8 - 9". I strongly suggest that you don't get one of those. If it's just blue you're after, get a few Chrysiptera damselfish. They're blue, can be kept in groups, and do very well in tanks as small as 10 gallons. For the sake of the fish, leave the big tangs to people with bigger tanks. Good luck.

"Sapphire" Chrysiptera springeri damselfish, a much better choice for your tank. I'm getting 5 of these myself.

Seems like you're intending to add one anyways. If you do, please be sure to take it out and rehome it once it reaches about 5". It will undoubtably get bigger than that, and at that point, it'll be too large for the tank. Be sure to work out a deal with your LFS/any reefing buddies before you buy it that they'll take it when it inevitably outgrows your tank. Best of luck.

Definitely. Once it get about that size I will find it a new home. I will always want what’s best for the fish.

Not a blue devil. That's a springeri damselfish, the second nicest fish in the hobby behind helfrichi firefish. There's a big difference. Here's a blue devil. The blue devil can be distinguished by orange coloration on the belly/tail fins, less black coloration, and less prominent dorsal fins.

Depends. Some of them are perfectly reef safe, never touching a polyp. Others will rip through an entire tank and eat all your coral. Most are somewhere in between, nipping occasionally on most of the corals and fully eating a few certain types. Nipping isn't a huge deal with colonies, but it can do harm to frags.

Not a matter of research on this one, I had 2 of the ones you mentioned and they tore each other to shreds. And yes before someone asks Im 100% sure thats the damsel I had not the blue devil. I call them all blue devils now cause of that. Lost both from their fighting. So got personal experience on this one. The two I had were meaner than anything and literally devils. Not arguing making a point. Forgot theres an actual blue devil damsel too so bad wording on my part but I will stand by the fact those are evil from my own experience.

I have heard lots of mixed opinions on what size tank for a power blue. I have seen YouTube videos of a power plus in 90 gallon and that is perfect for them. I have also heard from local fish store 200+ and other fish store 125 gallons. What do you think?

They IMO will out grow the 90

Interesting. That is indeed a springeri damsel. Were both of them springeri? I've read dozens of accounts of them, and this is the first report I've ever seen of any serious aggression from them. My old LFS used to put a bunch in each coral tank, they were great for eating pests.

Yep, had two of those and an Azure. They went after the Azure to relentlessly then when I moved the Azure to a different tank they turned on each other sometime in the night and I found them both dead looking like they went through a war zone. Never even thought they would be peaceful thats why when you suggested them I was like what on earth they will kill each other in a group! My Azure on the other had tried to bully other fish but was put in check with my maroon female early on and he is very peaceful in my tank, probably as chill as my purple firefish
