I love a lot of the RR pieces, but this one is pretty silly. I found sunset millies from $15-30.

However, this particular one is a LE because they "feel" its more brilliant.

There are plenty of other forums wherer you can be purely negative in public all you'd like - some are even quite famous.

I may be speaking for myself, but I'd prefer not to see stuff like this in the R2R forums as well. (Even a negative point could be made constructive with a little bit of care.)

I don't think anyone is being "put down". I personally think paying $150 for a some what common coral is a little much, no matter who has their LE name on it.

sorry lee but Sunny def didnt originate the "susnet mille" and nor is hiS the "original"...This morph has been around FOREVER......I see a ton pretty much every time I go to the bay. Finding a nice, healthy one is a different story, though.

yea.. i saw this one up on reeffarmers about 3 months ago and it honestly made me laugh. Its a funny joke .. I do love some of the pieces RR have and this one I just cant understand. To me its just a sunset milli and they are all nice. The ones like the Avengers and Orange Passion and Purple Dragon Eyes.. now those are awesome pieces

Do you have the orange passion or have you seen it in person? I've heard from more than a few reefers who I trust that it's nothing more than a Tenius with a tanish polyps.

I had the orange passion, but lost when a bunch of my sps took a nose dive. It was very very nice, and the polyps on mine were orange and sort of glowed. Mine only got about and inch and a half before my troubles. The whole thing had some very nice color, that and the poison ivy was also very nice. Maroon with yellow tips.

I don't think these threads are a put down at all. I view fellow hobbyists more like family and we should be alerting and protecting one another. It is obvious that people are out there to take advantage of us and we should make others aware of that. For a newbie that has not been in the hobby for years and does not know what a sunset Millie is, this thread can save them from being fleeced and also direct business to the vendors who are not trying to exploit the hobby.

what is RR? and this is common i see everyone doing it not just the big coral sellers just look at the coral for sale thread i see soo many zoo's and paly's with similar names and common product if it helps sell their product then why not ? just like burgers a burger is just a burger yet they all have such colorful names that we buy them lol...have to say this is the first time i have seen such negativity from R2R peeps..wow

RR stands for Reef Raft. They started as a canadian reef store and have brought in some insane pieces over the years
