First order of frags arrived. This was the smaller order of 6 frags.

Man the bonsai had a nice spiral. Notice the word had... Lol.





Had a couple of mishaps already! D'oh. When I used the razor blade to pop the bonsai off the frag it fell on the tile floor and broke off its nice spiral. Hopefully I didn't kill it lol.


Second mishap.

This thing was tiny! I put it next to my Xenia in the little Tupperware cup and it started to float away! It landed on the sand and I turned around to grab my phone to cut off the pump and powerheads and I lost it! Haha

that's a bummer, but probably worth it in the end. i opted to leave frags on the plugs and it's starting to irritate me.. but i had some similarly bad experiences with attempting to remove from the frag plugs so i just left them

Yeah the good news is I have 16 more frags coming to practice on lol. One of them is another bonsai (recieved this one as mystery frag replacement for a highlighter acro that the vendor said wasn't looking good enough to ship).

Superman Vs. Kryptonite monti. Pretty sure they are the same thing, mine just has a name slapped on it lol.

Number 4 looks DOA or really white to say the least.

All the rest look good I think.

Just tossed them in the tank after thier dip. Now to remove the plugs and glue them. Wish me luck! Probably won't glue the white one. That one looks pretty bad to me.

How's This? Didn't glue the other bonsai yet but the plug is pretty covered because how wide it is. The one right in the middle is already encrusted so may leave it be.

@Hemmdog or anyone else. So how do I know this white one is alive. I thought white meant bleached/dead? Definetly doesn't look blue yet lol.

There’s still a little bit of color left on it. My pink lemonade did the same thing when I added it. Completely white, a little over a month later it’s back to yellow! I’d leave it. Don’t get your hopes up, but it has a chance.
