Spread of the infection seemed to stop fairly quick after starting treatment. It's hard to get a great look but today is day 3 and she seems to be healing! Eating ok still. I'm going to do a 90% water chang and re-dose Cu and the prescribed cocktail.

FYR... Tuesday morning (9/6) she died. She stopped eating a couple days before. I tried feeding her everything I could my hands on but she wouldn't eat. Monday she took a bad turn... the sore didn't spread but the skin almost melted off/opened up and she was not swimming very well.

Another Anthia is starting to develop a round spot just below her dorsal fin.

Alternative treatment would be to use Kanaplex, Metroplex + Furan-2 combined.

The spot progressed quickly overnight. I did a 100% water change to make sure the water is clean as possible and re-dosed all those meds direct to water. I am also adding the metro and Kanaplex to food with Focus. I have another QT set-up with a pair of P. cards and Dragnets. Should I move the two healthy Anthia to this tank? (I'm thinking it will keep them from getting all these meds or are the potentially infectious and they should should get the treatment.). Bums me out, I was planning to move all these fish to the DT next week at the end of 30 days in Cu. (Just prior to a 8 day biz trip to Eu. I was hoping to only have 1 tank running to make it easier for my baby sitter while gone.

If the two two healthy anthias have shared water with the sick one(s) then IMO they need to be treated for a possible infection as well.

She has kept eating and it looks like she is starting to heal. Fingers crossed.

@melypr1985, @Hublefish. I have been pounding this infection daily. There is a faint spot left. To set the scene: I leave this evening for 7 days in Barcelona for work, my wife who can help feed when I am away (that's it) is gone all next week as well. I'm flying my mother in to watch the kids, dog, cats, fish etc for a week. She arrives tomorrow so I will not be able to do teach her 1st hand... she can handle throwing in some frozen food into the main floor DT but medicating QT, topping off the QT water, feeding multiple the QT would be tough if I could teach her... and I can't. Back to the fish.... I have to move the 2 healthy Anthia. The sick Anthia is doing really well. Should I move it? Would I be risking all fish (only 8 fish thus far in a 245G including an AT)? OR just leave the Anthia in QT, do a 100% water change, medicate, ask my mom to do her best by trying to feed the sick Anthia 2x/day and hope for the best. (I understand there is no definitive answer... just wondering what you would do in a similar situation.
