The best SALT you have used...

Hey Randy
And whoever helped me in this topic.
I changed water last night and here are my test results
Ca 580
Mg 1740
Kh 7/7-8
NO3 20
PO4 0/1
PH 8/1
As you can see Ca*3=Mg but they are both high. I added some KH buffer to increase it so the consumption of Mg and Ca will increase.
Is there anything else I have to do?
One of my Acroes got RTN previous night and I couldn't do anything.

It was my favorite, used for many years. When I could no longer it locally I used Reef Crystals for the past 10 years. I have been using Red Sea Pro for the past couple of months, it seems to be good but it runs my Mg levels high 1600-1700 ppm. But that may be due to the fact that I use Seachem buffers and calcium supplements.

Not that impressed with RSCP, used for about a year, too much variance in bucket. I don’t always remember to roll the bucket. Decided to go back to HW Marinemix, always consistent. Found it at BRS, been using for the last year, always mixes clear with or without aeration. Never residue in bucket after mixing. Never shocks my tank even when I do what I call a big water change. I also used TropMarin for a while. I have always went back to HW. Never changing again, if I do, back to Reef Crystals, it’s always been consistent also. Only two brands for me HW and RC.
