Agree with gonzo

People definitely do buy hype and a lot of people cant recognize photos with unreal color saturation.

Anyone who keeps corals and does coral photography post processing knows the difference between

1) post processing to match real life appearance

2) and post processing to unreal conditions (oversaturation, wrong color balance) to sell corals.

Im sure you know some vendors that consistently sell over saturated pictures.

Yeah im speculating the TCK Acro is photoshopped beyond reality. But hes using a nice camera for that shot. Wonder what it really looks like in person.

First of all not one person has matched his mother colony. Im saying there are other mini colonies besides what Mike B has and none of them match his. That picture is altered from the orginal pic, i do graphics for a living its super easy to tell its shopped. The acro in the backgorund is showing unantural highlighter colors, the egg crate is fake looking in color, the colors are just way to vibrant. Everyone has always said that how it looks in his tank too, how do you know? Because he sent you a pic? lol Im not saying it doesnt but how many of you actually seen the mother colony?

And at the end of the day if you have it and you like it, what does it matter what we think. Im just making the point that i believe its the corals that represents the pictures and have been proven to show the amazing colors are the ones that should be $500+ not the ones no one has ever replicated.

I didn't want to go down this path but they GOT their "press". They posted a picture thats questionable, never listed a price, then told people to send them a PM for an all three pack. After days of no response, TCK says to close the thread because they got too many PM's lol.

I don't care what you buy or how you buy it. buy all the hyped up photoshop corals in the world, it don't bother me.

I just am pointing out the obvious photo manipulation. Its unreal, greasy and unethical. I have never told anyone to not buy it. I am sure people are buying it because of what I said lol.

I think a second question is why would anyone think the TCK colors are "true" yet question the WD colors based on the two images you linked.

What i dont understand is how people seem to think a 1 inch frag is going to look exactly like a 10 by 6 inch full col9ny . Imo any acro peeks at full coloration once it hits maturity , nobodys pics are going to look like the mother coloneys for now give this thread about 2 years

The answer is easy. Some vendors sell 10 corals and make 600, some sell one inch frag and make that.

Ofcourse there is going to be threads like this.

The tenuis we posted was just something we wanted to share (as were the other new acros). We received a lot of interest in the frags, and we made it clear to buyers who pmed (before we ran out) the photos were shot under blue lighting. We also arent charging
$600 for a tiny 1/4" frag, nor are we all over hyping it on every imaginable facebook group.

Not sure why there is so much hate going on (from the same individuals every time). If anyone has or had issues with anything they purchased from us, please send us a pm/email and we will take care of you.

Last note, and coral that gets fragged off a colony, glued to a plug, and then ship will look a lot different from the stable parent colony that has been growing in the same conditions since it was introduced to the system. (With the exceptions of green slimer etc)
