I have dealt with Exotic Aquariums in Florida and I know they do some serious jobs for major companies. The store is not huge but that is very misleading as I had the pleasure of being invited to their warehouse, and It is is pretty big and they have a whole section just for manufacturing tanks for any type of client. They have a great store location so they basically restock the store daily from the warehouse. I am pretty sure based on some of the comments I have heard by their employees that some of these jobs are at least in the six digit range. They also do a ton of export jobs as they are very close to the Mia Intl airport.

Most of those big clients they don’t have a “reef tank” most of those tanks are fish only systems with fake corals inside. Reef tanks need too much work and daily hand holding.
That most people don’t want to deal with.
reef tanks also limits they type of fish you can have. Most casinos in Vegas have huge tanks but they are all fish only.
