Trident vs Alkatronic vs KH Director vs kh guardian

Btw now with my ghl controller am doing something to control my dastaco along side my khg which I would never dare on doing before..but not sure if it will work or not...will let u know how it goes.
Basically now the khg is working to supplement kh addition on top of my dastaco. This way I have my dastaco on low setting so control the risk a bit, supplement with khg..

Haha, way too early, but so far so good. Setup was uneventful. Meaning that it was super easy. Wasn't really much to do honestly. I finally got my first test results in Fusion and so far so good.

Measurements seems to be fine. I am not too worried about anything until after I do the calibration though. It really isn't loud at all. My Alkatronic is much louder than the Trident currently. I can hear the Alkatronic over everything, but really have to listen really hard to hear it when TV, etc are on.

Have you done static test yet?
Meaning run couple of tests consecutively on a water sample placed in a seprate container?

Nope don’t plan to. I can just run back to back test with my tank water and get the same result. Parameters should change so fast that if I decide to run 2 test back-to-back, I should get similar measurements if not exact.

After running for a day or so I’ll do a comparison with New Salifert kits I just got in. Letting it break-in some.

9.5 dKH isn’t bad for first measurement. Tank is at 9.7 from the Alkatronic. I just calibrated the Alkatronic so tomorrow I’ll check the dKH on both in the evening.

I might get a KH Guardian from a friend that isn’t using it. It’s not working. He got it when they first came out and just never worked well. I might see what I can do to get it going.

There were couple of issues that they addressed.

Nothing like a head to head to head to head comparison. I don’t think it’s crazy at all, you’ll be in a unique position of having experience with them all.

Alkatronic just test at 9.67dKH. Trident was at 9.5 no calibration . Still itching to keep the Trident at 4/2/2 ;Stop.
