So I have had a little issue with VC and Vodka dosing, now not saying you will have it but what I have had experienced dosing both. I started VC dosing the middle of the year or a little earlier but I have been dosing vodka for over 3 years now. When I started dosing VC I started very slow and never strayed from the amount of vodka I dosed while starting VC dosing. I did not see any issue with lower dosing VC but I did start noticing some changes in both my coral and a dino outbreak when I hit around 20ppm of VC. I did not do anything different with my water changes, I have always used Tropic Marin Pro and only other thing I dose is B-Ionic and Coral Fuel. Once I started to reduce the vodka dosing down to 15ppm from 25ppm thing's started to stabilize out and coral started to gain color back and the dino died off, took about a month and a half for this process to take it's course. Only other issue I saw was a goni I had for over 4 years started to RTN on me and then after everything stabilized it stopped. Not saying not to try VC dosing but just something that did happen to me.I do vodka dosing...will vitamin c dosing be okay to do too?
Yes, in my previous post about this, I suggested cutting the vodka in 1/2 while ramping up the VC, just to be sure it wouldn't affect your system in any negative ways. Then, once you've reached the max VC ppm you are looking for, let things stabilize for a while & then you may or may not want to ramp up the vodka. In a healthy system, I see no reason to use more than 5-10ppm of VC. Why did you go to 20?
