Vitamin C dosing for zoanthids (I am clueless)

So I started dosing last night with vitamin c along with vitamin m from brightwells. I already have healthy livestock but I just wanted something to supercharge everything....lol :-).... I saw immediate results as far as polyp extention from the z/p's. Pretty cool if you ask me. The dosing is just 1 drop of each in the morning and 1 at night for the first 4 weeks and then it will move to 2 drops of each in the morning and 2 drops of each at night. Starting dosage on the brightwells is 2 drops per 20 gallons a day. Being that I only have a 34 gallon red sea max, i don't think it will break the bank.

1 drop of Brightwells VC is pretty much insignificant. Dunno what vitamin "M" is. Read my vitamin C dosing chart to see how many mg I suggest dosing & compare that to what is in the Brightwells product.

I got the costco brand in tablet form(1000 mg) for my zoas and it has rose hips and citrus Bioflavonoids is either of these ingredients bad? My dosage is 500 mg as i have a 29 gallon tank. I did a 250 mg dose to see if either of those ingredients will harm my corals.

help is appriciated

Just got 3 bottles of vitamin c!!! Started with 1/4 tsp today and will continue it from here on out! ill keep everyone posted

i'm getting some vitamin c today, the buffered powder. i saw the formula on the first page but what ppm should i be shooting for in my tank?

So far so good i have noticed my skimmer, skimming more, i have noticed a small red hair algae bloom, but that's most likely from me overfeeding.

Its also looking like the colors in my chalices, zoas, acans are a lot brighter. Cant wait to see what happens down the road!!

is there a more recent link to the vitamin c we are supposed to use? last time I was in this thread the links were junk.. I'm definitly interested in trying this..

close to 2wk now. I use the Non-Acidic powder form from Vitamin Shoppe; so far, nothing died, no algae breakout and my Alkalinity is rock steady (no change). Will continue for now and will update....

I was sent calcium ascorbate by mistake instead of the sodium ascorbate. Can I use this?

I hope this stuff really works. I just order some to try in my 33L. Total water volume around 40g with sump. I take it, from what I've read, that 1/4 tsp should be good for my size take? Will dose in the AM around 8 and again about 6:30 when I get home from work.
