You misspelled "anything".I find it strange there isn't much coming from the manufacturers...
Hi - I was totally being facetious. The point was that over the last couple weeks multiple new posters had been posting in favor of vibrant and the implication was that THEY were shills for Vibrant. What I said was 'tongue in cheek'. I no way did I mean to really say you were anything but honorable. I apologizeI understand your point of view and respect it in its totality. I am neither a ruling judge nor an active jury to question your mis-judgment. After all, we All possess the right of free will.
And although a normal practice these days to assume malevolent motives are at play when crossing paths with an unfamiliar face, I can assure you that I have No agenda. For that would be acting against one of the five principles of Ethics; The principle of Transparency. A ruling force which I must abide by at all cost, for that is the nature of my work.
I am here no other than to participate in open dialogue and an exchange of information. Much like every other living being on this platform.
May I ask what led you to believe anything other than the above? I ask out of curiosity seeing that I did not fully understand your use of the word "shills". I don't believe you meant to offend me in any way with that statement therefore, no offense given, none taken. Still, I am curious as to what led you to believe the notion of deceit. For that is not my intent.
Sincerely,
The GrimReefer

I just felt compelled to jump in here b/c “people wouldn’t know how to dose without the EPA regulations” is not at all what was being said, and the actual concept was explained more than once, but you are definitely continually misinterpreting and misrepresenting the concept. No big deal in the grand scheme of this issue but just wanted to chime in there. The concept is simply that folks are much less likely to ad lib a dose with an EPA warning on it, that’s all.
Yikes, idk why you are so combative. What you are saying has nothing to do with what I commented on to clarify misinformation. Kindly leave me out of this anger/combativeness now.I don't care how you want to spin it, you can't blame the company for people who refuse to follow directions and think they know better than the label.
There are many valid things we can point that Vibrant has done wrong, but the users failure to follow directions is not one of them.
Ok, here is where I see an issue. Actually 2 issues.I don't care how you want to spin it, you can't blame the company for people who refuse to follow directions and think they know better than the label.

I asked once, now I’m asking you again kindly in a much more direct way, please do not engage me any further. Thank you.I didn't feel I was all that combative, but ok. Especially not in response to this:
How so? Is the claim that people haven't followed the directions and would have otherwise? Which is what I addressed. Blame them for all the valid things, but stop blaming them for peoples inability to follow directions.
I'm just going to be done with this thread. You guys are just a lynch mob looking for people to hang. Just go ahead and imagine I made a few posts that got deleted in response instead.

Wow.. Lynch mob huh..I didn't feel I was all that combative, but ok. Especially not in response to this:

The ignore button works really well when all else fails.I asked once, now I’m asking you again kindly in a much more direct way, please do not engage me any further. Thank you.
I don’t like to block ppl and haven’t ever done it. It’s much easier to just ask them to stop in the one instance so you can continue to engage in other areas in the future, which is usually respected. Usually. The ignore button works really well when all else fails.
Anyone who dares say something contrary to someone who has their pitchforks up against vibrant is immediately attacked in this thread.Ok, here is where I see an issue. Actually 2 issues.
"Bacterial Products" are well known to safe at higher level than the instructions. Worst case is you end up with a bloom and may need to aerate the tank more. Again, it is not following directions, but it has been proven time and time again to be OK. Sadly, it appears Vibrant is not a bacterial product.
Numerous times, UWC has stated "they do not recommend overdosing". Yet they still say "it will not hurt corals if you do."
Hopefully you can see how one could interpret that as, "It may not be best, but will not hrut anything". While I do agree that they do not recommend it, IT DOES NOT HURT ANYTHING, is was stated by UWC.
Here is one of many examples where they stated this. Yes this is from 2017, but it is stated time and time again by them on numerous social media sites, forums, etc. A simple dig into this is easy with searches. Tons of items out there where people have misread, asked UWC for help and get the same answer "It should not hurt corals/fish"

To sum it all up, yes, people dose more than the instructions, yes UWC appears to have lied, Yes UWC states overdosing is not an issue, yes: you are being combative.
The discussion at hand is not in regards to dosing.
It is in regards to Vibrant being a Algaecide/Molluscicide and not a bacterial supplement as advertised.
So lets drop everyone being combative, keep the topic at hand on point and actually discuss things and provide evidence for those discussion.
Note: I have never used Vibrant, have no skin in the game either way, and am just taking in as much knowledge as I can about these things, as I like to learn and be engaged. This can all be done without attitude, adding to a converstation with nothing to back up a point or show any evidence of this. Not calling anyone out on this, but just want a nice clean discussion without all the crap muddled in.
Wow.. Lynch mob huh..
This is where not responding and moving on comes to mind. Make a clarification and move on.Anyone who dares say something contrary to someone who has their pitchforks up against vibrant is immediately attacked in this thread.
People don't become "combative" out of the blue. I didn't even participate in this thread for the first 39 or so pages. I only chimed in because someone claimed everything was "poison". Which is ridiculous considering the concentration is often a big factor between the line of good and poison. Immediately I had someone replying to me claiming "hard to follow instructions when you don't know what it is". Which is again, ridiculous.
So yes, the discussion did become about dosing. But again, because I dare question the crazy claims some people make, I was attacked, seen as a "sympthizer" even though you can view my post history and see that I constantly advise against using it and have for years.
Id have thought a lawyer would have been all over the let's get a statement out asap to try to combat any rumours and bad feeling before it damages the company more than it hasThey aren't allowed to respond until their "lawyers" say it's okay
