when everything goes wrong all at the same time. drain clog, broken pump, shattered the glass on my mh.

also when you finally find that one fish you've wanted for the longest time...put it in your tank and the little 6 line decides he's not worthy of entering your tank!

my freaking engineer goby. he's been in one hole for about 1.5 years...just decided this past week to go to the other side. covered a couple chalice's, purple death colony, captain america paly, and a couple other blank plugs that i can't remember what was on them...ALL DEAD!

Sometimes we all catch the bug at some point. I try not too though....

I would also have to say it sucks having a lot of nice stuff, then trying to sell the not so unique pieces for a nice price and then you can't even give them away since they are next too REALLY nice pieces.
Example - bring most of my "normal" stuff to a fish store, and it is REALLY nice compared to the rest of the stuff in the store.
Put it next to some of the really nice stuff in my tank and all of the sudden it looks like brown corals and noboby wants them - they want the piece next to it for the same price

Note to self - when selling off frags, put them on a seperate frag rack all together - then they can pick from there

2nd - When people give advice, yet have no experience with the subject at hand except for looking it up online.

3rd - Ordering frags online only to find out the piece they sent you is so small you can't tell if it is ALGAE or a coral. OR the piece looks NOTHING like the picture and come to find out they had it under full actinics, then photoshopped to seal the deal. (Greed)

I got to say that green/brown film that you get on the glass!! ARG! I get that all the time.

Also I hate to have my own sand bed covered in frags, yet mine is covered even as I type.

I once bought an AAA Ultra Crocea and a few SPS on the same day.
The stupid Pocillopora broke off while I was mounting another frag and dropped RIGHT INTO the clam :: Sucked a whole lot... The frag started sliming up and stinging the clam from the inside! I tried to move the clam so it was almost vertically mounted, hoping it would 'spit out' the frag... Nope, It died a slow death. Basically, I hate when I'm careless and it costs me, Not the money, but the aggravation.

The people that start spouting off that Mandarin's only eats pods and they need 100's of pounds of live rock and they have never even owned one. Mandarins have a veried diet in the wild. Most of which does consist of small crustations and pods but what fish actually eats flakes and pellets in the wild? All fish have to go through some form of conditioning prior to them accepting frozen foods. Some are just easyer than other. But with the proper knowlege and advice they are not that difficult a fish.

Same with cleaner wrasses. The gestapo on RC says they can't be kept in a captive system.

Dirty glass.... It drives me insane!! BRB, there are a few spots on the glass.... lol Oh, I also HATE HATE HATE fingerprints!! Its a pain to clean and when you JUST finished cleaning the outside glass someone in your family walks up to the tank and puts another finger print. AAARRGGG!

Totally agree.....I had one for 8 years in a 40g long.....Infact Steven Pro at one time asked if I would write something for wetwebmedia about captive care of Mandarins....Although you are one step ahead by getting them to mate....

People who think your too young for this hobby. (I started the Saltwater hobby when I was 12-13 years old and I'm 16 years old right now and own a 180 gallon mixed reef, 28 gallon Nano-Cube reef that's SPS/LPS dominated, and a 8 gallon Bio-Cube that has Softies/Leathers.)
