What worked for your aiptasia?

No true! @Tamberav's method really does work. I did end up carrying around a tea cattle which was my reservoir, and this does require a little dexterity, but you can do it.

I’ve tried that and problem seemed to get worse. ReefDelete2 burned them into a black hole but by then I had a mini explosion going on. No way I could get to every small astapia. I used Berghia

Also have a clam, LPS and SPS. Berghia at .75 inch. They’ve laid 5 egg spirals so far, don’t know what will happen there but I’ll find out. They started eating quickly, faster than the .50 inch ones. I only saw 2 of that size after putting in 10. Five each in first two orders. Then I saw the .75 inch and went for it, I added five. They cleaned off astapia on the clam scutes also, it’s a Mimosa. Most importantly there’s not a fish that will eat the Berghia. I also just found the bristleworm breeding hide outs before putting in the .75 inch and haven’t seen one of those worms since. Working great so far.

No luck with berghia... Longnose hawkfish and wrasses picked them off after lights out.

I witnessed the longnose literally play with a 1/2 inch berghia, it was non existent by morning.

I did too, and it was the only thing that wiped them out from my tanks, but this only works if you don't have fish that will eat all the nudibranchs. I did clear it out of four of my tanks, though.

Aiptasia-X is semi-effective some of the time; new polyps are guaranteed.

F-Aiptasia is great at cementing them in, but won't get rid of those in your plumbing.

Hot water is free and will help to control -- but not eliminate -- them.

Nudibranchs are incredibly expensive in Canada -- 5 for $100 is the best rate you can get, but I've seen them go for upwards of $40 a piece -- but will get rid of them completely. But not if something else eats them first.

That reef delete is garbage. One of the more expensive waste of cash ever spent. I used a majano wand and it made it worse!

4 peppermints from LFS, 3 days later no aptasia, sold back 2 peppermint and kept 2 for future control. Six months later I only have 1 aptasia, unfortunately I think the shrimp have grown accustomed to other food

I had to rehome a court jester. It ate the prior batches of Berghia months ago, enjoyed his snack, was a fatty!

I purchased the second version and it does burn the astapia out of existence. Left a black spot where it used to be. It does work, button easy to push.

Regarding nudis - that price is pretty consistent w/ what i paid here in the states (depending on size). I just noticed two aiptasia in my tank - can i remove the frag and use f aiptasia that way? Aside from the aiptasia the coral is a leather. Lol

Yes, absolutely. I'd chuck the leather into a jar after treatment for a few days, just to ensure that it doesn't try to reproduce asexually in your display.

It has eaten quite a few limpets, but they reproduce like crazy in my tank. Hasn't touched the torches or gonis yet. This was supposed to be an SPS only tank. If he gets a taste, they'll get moved pretty quick to the frag tank.

I took the coral out, boiled a cup of water and immediately sprayed all the aiptasia. The aiptasia turned medium rare and just died. I killed basically everything I think. I then returned the coral back to its spot.

This should buy me time to get my pyramids established and maybe even add a copper band for good measure.

Peppermint Shrimp for the win for me. I’ve got two and no issues after they did their aiptasia removal job. Plus they’re good scroungers of leftovers from feeding

They are just not reef safe, I don't buy the reef safe with caution tag.

FOWLR tanks are fine. The LFS keep one in their Live rock tank.

Best place for them.

One day out of the blue, it will feast on your LPS coral.

Copperbands in my experience will take a liking to your LPS coral unless you stuff them full of copepods.

They either eat nothing or lots. Tried once and returned it.
