How are your corals responding to them? SPS? Happy? would you do anything different. I am doing some research. Also if you have not owned them please dont' chime in. I am looking for people who have them.

I have the gen 2 and love it so far. But it's on a fairly new tank that I'm slowly moving coral into. Lps are doing great, I moved one sunset monti under it that wasn't doing good in my other tank. Hasn't lost anymore color but hasn't gained any yet either. I'm also on a 6 week acclimation setup so that I didn't burn anything up. So it's only running about 40-50%

Only had it running about 10days now

Im running them and all corals, from zoas to LPS to SPS love them. Definatly a great fixture.

yes they grow sps just fine..... This is a pic from my old tank....That ice fire echinata is about 5"x5"

thank you. What did you have before them?

I had 2 Par38 bulbs on my 12g nano cube. They grew sps really slow compared to the radion. Its a new tank so I cant really compare other fixtures other than those. I do go out of town every week and come back on the weekends, and there is definate growth when I come home.

I have heard great things from many serious reefers about the radions (and how well SPS grow under them). It takes a while to get the right color combo/intensity. Maybe you can ask someone who has SPS growth for their specs and copy their program.

I had a gen 1 grew sps fantastic!!! Sooooo I upgraded to a pro with a new tank. 60gal

I noticed they are super powerful having trouble bc I have to keep dialing the intensity down...... Where I was running my gen 1 at 100% for 4 hrs I can only run my pro for 45% for 2 hrs. Fried some

I love the light tho once I get things dialed in right I suspect it will grow sps like crazy abx I think it blows my gen 1 out if the water. Def a great light!!!

Im over here?? After a month and half of acclimation , they are all fine , except my LT anemone still does not like them. But the Rbta's love em:bigsmile:

Running Gen 1 but Pro's are on their way as we speak. Good growth and color with them will be better with the Pro's.

I have 2 gen1 on my 90 with the tir lens upgrade. My tank is strictly sps and my corals looooooove them, coloration and growth are far superior to my previos 8 bulb ATI t5 setup. I will never go back!!!!

any chalice lovers using radions? I'm thinking of purchasing a gen 2 but I want to make sure they don't bleach chalices and can grow and maintain the vivid colors of chalices? i have been impressed by what they appear to do for sps once dialed in so I'm sold on that aspect...
anyone have chalice pics under these??
