Where are the Ecotech Radions users? Please chime in here.

I have 4 gen 1's.
One is on my 50 gallon LPS/SPS tank and 3 are on my 240 softy tank.
Once the tanks were acclimated to the led intensity, the corals are doing great.
Getting them acclimated took a while. Even though I did a 5 week acclimation, they still weren't totally happy for another couple weeks.
I think acclimation is the key.

I have several chalices under the gen 2 and doing well. Only 1 is having issues so far but think its just ****** off from goin from one tank to another

Here is a few pics. One is bazooka joe and other is a wild colony just got recently from blue water tropics
Sorry iPhone shots but that's close to true color. It was lacking the green rim before it was under these and in just a few days its fillin in all the way around even were was cut last

Good to know!

i have the gen 2 - hate it honestly. grows sps well but my color is terrible and I am bleaching/browning corals trying to figure out a good color/intensity.

I have the Gen 2 as well, kind of wish I had 2 for my 40g. Most things love em. I got good growth on SPS but I decided to just do a LPS and Softie tank. (less having to worry about everything) But I am still messing with the fixture trying to find a good color/intensity as well. So far I am using a preset from Ecotech live. Going to see how growth is with that. But so far my Acans love em they have been poppin heads like crazy :P But ever since I transfered to a larger tank my growth hasn't been all that good on my zoas and palys; I am not sure why. I may need to raise my intensity since the tank is deeper..but its all trial and error in this hobby lol.

Oh and I have seen no ill effects on my 4 chalices, but I keep them pretty much in the bottom portion of the tank and on the sides where the light doesn't get too intense.

Have been thinking about just going with a reefbreeder light to get more coverage since its cheaper then buying another radion g2 :P,so the wife might actually approve.... but that is another story and an argument to some that I care not to start or get into. :nono:

:focus: But all in all its a really good fixture. I have never used thunderstorm or cloud cover. And I don't use the slide buttons on top at all. It has a ton of program-ability which is awesome and you can really tune it to get some good colors. But I am still trying to find that fine line to get great color pop and growth at the same time...its a constant battle lol.

I have two gen 1's with sps, chalice, and zoas I run mine on the pre made layout radiant color at 55% 18" off the water on a 120 everything loves it.

I honestly haven't played with mine much. Im planning to soon and actually got the computer out to hook up to it real quick lol. But so far I have only had one chalice respond bad under it,but was transferred from my other tank and Apollo LEDs. Moved it with 3 other chalices all doing good.

I have 4 gen 1 with tir lens over my 312 gallon tank. Been running for almost 2 months now. So far no issues lights are at 75% intensity with a 10 hour photoperiod. SPS are loving it, chalices are ok if kept down in the shade. Other lps are doing fine

Plate corals are loving it

I have 2 gen 1 no TR lens ( I have them just not put then on yet) over my 120 reef 24 inches deep. They are about 12" off the water. I have softies, LPS, Zoo, torches, chalices, acan, blastos and meat coral . Tank is pretty well mixed any sps are lower light. Trying to find a program to make everyone happy. I love the BR color makes the colors pop. Will the BL lights grow coral? If not will 20K at 35 or less intensity grow coral? If I go much higher things seem to stress but I am afraid they will die if i go to low? Help please :)

I've been using 4 Gen 2 pros for 8 months. I'm getting really good growth and color on my SPS. It took me a good 3 months to dial them in, but I think I've finally found what works best with my tank.

I have a radion G2 with wide angle lenses over my 40 breeder. I have only had it about a month but so far things have been doing pretty good but its still early.

you mean just a screen shot or share the export file to use on your tank?
id gladly share my file. I do run a bit bluer of a tank..whats your email if you want to try mine. i run my lights at a little stronger because I am running the wide angle lenses so they peak at 75% for my 40 breeder
