With my settings if you are running the standard tir lenses you will have to drop the overall intensity. I am running the wide angle lenses so my light peaks at 75%

I just bought the 120degree lens for my G2s.....So can you run the overall brightness higher when you have the lens??

I am running 4 x gen 2 pros. all my coral is happy except chalices, and across more likely to my tank being 5 months old and I am a new reefer. all my plays zoas, LPS and news are happy campers.

Tank is 36 inch deep, lights are 11 inches off the water.

I run my lights about 9.5" off the water. And yes if your running the wide angle lenses then you need to up intensity to match what it was with the standard 80 degree tir lenses. Someone posted par ratings with stock tir at 45% then had to move it up to 75% to match the par.

Sanjay Joshi said on his post the other day he runs his Gen 2 Pros at 100% for 5 hours on his 500 gallon DSPS tank. His tank is rockin all that SPS. I don't know of anyone else who runs them at that intensity for that long.

I saw it on Facebook. Someone asked him about it in the comments of his pics.

I've been running mine at 75% @ 10K for 3 hours a day, then 20k. The last 7 days, I've bumped it to 90% for 4 hours.

I've had mine about 6 weeks. Coral seem to like as well. Had to do some firmware upgrades for APEX and Radions. Very simple and works great with profiles.

I dialed back the intensity first day went really well everyone seems happier and opened up a little more. See how it goes will increase a little at a time.

Why don't you use the Acclimate Timer on the program?
Btw, I might have missed it but what size tank you have?
