As the title states, I’m curious as to where you dump your dirty water change water?

Toilet. I'm sure a lot of people dump down the sink. My tank is closest to my kitchen. I just worry about what saltwater would do to my garbage disposal

When i was young, i used to pour it outside on the lawn, but we later discovered that it kills grass and now moss grows there in the spot. So now that i am older and live in my own house, it just goes down the drain.

Wow! It has never occurred to me that it may affect the garbage is disposal. Now I'm going to be wondering. I use my python and the dirty water goes down my kitchen drain. Then I clean the dickens out of my sink -- bleach is involved.

Usually in my yard. Sometimes I send it down my tub. Sometimes I pour it on the manzanita further out in my yard, but it still lives.

Through the python into the deepsink drain. Once I set up the AWC, it will go down a floor drain.

To those that dump it in the yard, does your grass continue to grow? I ask as I did this a while back when I was in a rush (tank is by the front door) and a small Bush doesnt seem to be doing good. Wasnt sure if it was tied to this or not and were tearing the Bush out next year and planting something else in its place, but curious.

I use python hose and pump it out in the gravel part of drive since I have a septic tank

I know it’s a bad idea but it’s so dang convenient, I have 4 tanks running in the basement, so I drain them into the sump pit. I do trigger the sump to run after I put salt water in it, but I’m sure I will pay for it in salt water corrosion on the sump motor in a few years, beats lugging the water upstairs though. I have a septic system as well, so no chance of me putting the water down the drain anyways. The sump discharges far away from the house and eventually runs into a creek.
