Awesome I dig the mounting racks for those lights.
I have the racks for them on the wooden plank to try make it look neat… finding a plank of wood that was both 4’ long and the same colour/wood as the stand was hell!

I had to build a seperate building for mine. My wife was just to worried about 1100 gallons in the living room.

Man, I feel bad for my neighbours that just see an ominous blue glow from my bedroom as well as my living room. But if it keeps the coral thriving then the neighbours will just have to act like it’s always halloween
I've had unsuspecting neighbors ask me if I have a grow house because of my sun-domes. I tell them, yes but not the grow house you're thinking.

I go out all for Halloween! All us neighbors are very close and they all love the aquarium!

Living room and dining room here.

The reef tank is in the living room directly across from the front door. Anyone who comes to my door has a clear view of the tank. I have had many pizza delivery guys and such react to the tank behind me when I open the door.

I also have neighbors that have asked about the blue light in the front of the house lol

The 180 FOWLR tank is in the dining room. It can also be seen from the front door.

The 32g is on the end wall between the living rom and kitchen. Technically I guess that is the dining room as well... whatever. I can see all 3 tanks from the couch while watching tv.

I REALLY like the idea of using the coat closet for a large ATO reservoir. I have been looking everywhere for a container that will fit under the stand for this. I have about 15 x 12 x 16 space under the stand.

I would have to route everything through the kitchen pantry closet, but that should be simple enough to do.

Thanks for the idea guys.. I will be looking into this!!

we had a coal burning stove in NY and my dad would get the house up to 80-85 degrees in the winter we would all be sweating but mom and my sister were happy.
Too funny, I live in NY and have a wood burning stove. Wife would run the darn thing to 80-85 too. After I'm done shoveling the snow, I'm taking off 3 layers of clothes and under garment.

Wife and kids are in shorts and tee shirt, drinking a milk shake

What is this snow that you speak of, I'm so glad I live in Florida.

Well, my mother-in-law lives with us and my Wife's 26 year old son. So it was only fitting to put it in a bed room.
