Its the "welcome to my home" piece! even have the lights in house set to blue at night! My house is at the end of neighborhood and faces toward the entrance. Pull in my neighborhood and all you see are blue lights inside a home in the evening! Can see the reflection from front window in wife's truck!

Mine is in the living room, beside the front door. The sump is in the basement. It can be seen from all the sofas in the living room and from the dining room table in the dining room.

Mine is right outside my home office which is also the entry way to the house. I work from home so I get to look at my tank a lot throughout the day.

In the livingroom! Who needs a TV? If it was up to me we’d be watching the fish tank as it changes each day. I will often sit and watch the tank whenever friends are around or when I’m just wanting to relax!

I worked on it about an hour a day for three or four days. It was like a jigsaw puzzle. I didn’t glue the rubble to the glass. I glued the rubble to 18” x 24” clear plastic sheets I bought at Lowes, and then fitted them into the tank afterwards.

How does everyone have their aquarium set up in their home? Is it in a separate room, or part of the main living area?

I love being able to see my aquarium from just about any room in the house.

My question is how do get that lighting and imagery.

It's natural sunlight if you check my build you can see how the solar tubes were installed.

Are you referring to the side angle cross view of the peninsula? If so my Samsung Note 20 has a wide angle mode in pro settings which allows for the added depth.

My neighbor has a room like that, I can see it from the end of the block.

Man, I feel bad for my neighbours that just see an ominous blue glow from my bedroom as well as my living room. But if it keeps the coral thriving then the neighbours will just have to act like it’s always halloween
